Tungsten/Molybdenum

In our production the powder metal materials tungsten and molybdenum are made of a concentration of purity higher than 99,9%, as also made with different additives (e.g. cerium, lanthanum et al.).

The most of characteristic for of EROMET are of tungsten/molybdenum are:

  1. high melting point
  2. high thermal mechinability
  3. good electrical conductivity
  4. good thermal conductivity
  5. little thermal coefficient of expansion

Examples of usage:

  1. coil/shuttles for coated by vapor rising
  2. circular blank sheets for semiconductor technology
  3. power supply lines for flash tubes
  4. anodes/cathodes for electrical tubes
  5. electrodes for plasma spraying
  6. resistance welding electrodes
  7. TIG-electrodes (TIG = tungsten inert-gas welding) for gas-shielded welding, plasma welding

Possible shapes:

Wands, spikes, wires, plates, mouldings and granulates.

TIG-electrodes available in different qualities, as well as thorium free
special electrodes with different additives (e.g. cerium, lanthanum).

Common dimensions can be supplied ex stock.
