Tungsten-alloy

In our production the powder metal material heavy metal is made of a tungsten concentration between 85% and 98%, and a corresponding residual content of nickel/copper-binder (non-magnetic).

The most of characteristic for of Tungsten alloy are:

  1. high density between 16,5 and 18,5 g/cm³
  2. high elastic modulus (vibration absorption, rigidity)
  3. high absorption capacity (radiation protection)
  4. good mechinability

Examples of usage:

  1. rod, long rotary chisel fastener, grinding wheel shank
  2. protection shield, collimators for radiation protection
  3. Balance weights for crank shafts
  4. Balance weights for generators and turbines
  5. Anvils and electrodes for forged

Possible shapes:

Wands, plates, blocs, mouldings (according to graphical model).

Common dimensions can be supplied ex stock.
